We work with carbon plate steel and carbon sheet steel in a wide variety of carbon levels. We also work with many varieties of high-strength steels and abrasion-resistant steels. In addition, we work with all types of stainless steel and aluminum grades.

We specialize in laser cutting, plasma cutting, press brake forming, multiple types of welding, blasting, CNC machining, assembly, and painting (liquid and powder) services.

Yes, we can perform a vast array of assembly work from simple bolting and riveting of fabricated items into assemblies. We also perform complex elector-mechanical assembly operations, with the ability to build up complete turn-key units.

Yes, we paint multiple liquid paint booths from 20 ft. long to 60 ft. long with multiple wash booths and dry off ovens. We also have a new manually conveyed powder coating line with capabilities to handle items up to 6,000 lbs and 22 ft. long.

Yes, we offer prototyping and short-run production to help validate designs before full-scale manufacturing.

Yes, we are equipped to manage high-volume fabrication production runs by deploying robotics and automation where needed.

We provide MIG, TIG, flux core, submerged arc, brazing, stud welding, robotic, resistance welding, pre-heat welding, and post-welding stress relieving.

Some of our global blue-chip partners include Eaton, Regal Rexnord, Caterpillar, Generac, and Rehlko.

Engineering & Quality

Our engineering team assists with design for manufacturing for cost optimization, quality improvements, and manufacturing efficiency. 

We are certified to ISO 9001:2015, we adhere to AWS D1.1 weld codes, and we collaborate on all customer-specific standards and specifications.

Yes, we provide full material traceability and certification upon request.

We follow the AIAG standards for APQP, including PPAP submissions, First Article Inspections, and other document submissions. Utilizing a large arsenal of inspection tools, including a portable coordinate-measuring machine, we also offer non-destructive testing, weld inspections, and dry film thickness and adhesion testing for paints.

Logistics & Turnaround

We are based in Mequon, Wisconsin, U.S., about 15 minutes north of Milwaukee.

Super Steel has a 300,000 ft2 fully integrated production facility.

Our lead time typically ranges from two to six weeks, depending on complexity and volume.

Yes. While standard freight terms are FOB from our dock, we work closely with our customers to coordinate shipping, including oversized loads, regional delivery, and international freight.

We work closely with our customers to come up with an agreed upon series  of rules of engagement that support the customer’s needs and ensure a steady flow of quality product delivered on time.
