We are excited to celebrate the milestone of driving our 500th unit out of our production facility in Mequon, WI. Super Steel manufactures these unique rotating dump truck units, start to finish, in its facility where Made in America means something special. They are designed and built to drive into, and operate in, some of the harshest and most remote areas, where durability and reliability from the first turn of the key are demanded.
We begin by securing premium raw materials and purchased components, then move through the complex heavy metal fabrication, machining, paint, intricate assembly, and testing processes before loading each unit on schedule to our customer. Several configurations were produced, most of which are rotating crawler carriers with 7-and 14-metric-ton load capacities.
Over the many years of working in close collaboration with the customer, our expert DFM and cost reduction efforts have resulted in highly robust, reliable, and competitive units that our customers’ dealers and end customers around the continent depend on.
