Our Friday Focus is on Shirley, the only other woman welder at Super Steel. Shirley has been a welder at Super Steel for 16 years! She had a friend that worked here and told her to try it out, so she went to MATC, and she loves her career! The best thing she loves about welding is learning all the different wires. Her advice to the younger generation of women is, “It’s a fun, rewarding career with growth opportunities. Take a chance on it!”
